Bronze Memorial Posts

Every bronze figurine starts the same way, sculpted by hand in clay, then cast into bronze to capture the likeness precisely. Set atop a mahogany post, it's built to stand in their favourite spot: by the window they used to watch from, a shady spot in the garden, or the gate where they dug their holes.

Our bronze figurines were made to last. Bronze is cast to hold fine detail permanently, then finished to develop a natural patina over time, this is expected, not a flaw, and part of what gives each piece its particular depth outdoors. A dry cloth is all it needs; avoid abrasive cleaners, which can strip the finish.

The mahogany post beneath it can be left to weather naturally or treated annually with an exterior timber oil to preserve its colour. Over time it will grey and soften, again, part of its character rather than something to prevent. Both bronze and mahogany are built for outdoor placement, so it's worth checking the post is stable after heavy rain or ground movement, and re-tamping the base if needed.

If you're choosing this for someone else, a friend or family member who's lost a pet, our sympathy gifts collection is built for exactly that moment, when you want to help but aren't sure what to say.

Every piece is designed by hand and produced in small runs. If a different material feels more fitting, you'll find beechwood urns, resin urns, and clay urns in the collection as well. To understand more about how each piece comes together, visit our story.
