Our outdoor figurine pieces work differently, the bronze figurine and post mark the spot while ashes are placed in the ground beneath.

This depends on the piece. Most indoor urns open at the top or base to allow ashes to be placed inside. Our clay urn can also be used as a biodegradable option, if ashes are removed from their plastic bag and placed directly inside, the entire urn can be buried and will biodegrade naturally.
